A Seat at the Table was founded in 2021 at Cornell University by a group of freshmen students seeking change.

Our founding executive team was a diverse group of students, with identities varying in terms of race, religion, gender, sexual orientation, national origin, and more.

They saw a void at Cornell in the business club realm. While there are an abundance of clubs focusing on finance and investment as well as various types of consulting, there were no club specializing in Business Ethics. They created A Seat at the Table with the vision of providing members with a comprehensive education series, hands-on experience in the larger community, and considerations of real-world issues all within an inclusive and welcoming atmosphere.
